The Cystic Fibrosis Carrier Screening Program

The Cystic fibrosis Carrier Screening Program is a screening program offered by Genetic Health Services Victoria. We offer testing to all couples planning a pregnancy or already in the early stages of pregnancy (generally before 14 weeks gestation). After you have discussed testing with a medical practitioner you can use our screening pack to determine if you are a carrier of cystic fibrosis and if you and your partner are at high risk of having a child affected with cystic fibrosis (CF).
